The construction crew was great! They communicated well, were very accommodating, and got our project done within a single day. The results look great and they explained their process and answered any questions I had along the way.

I'm extremely happy with Load Bearing Wall Company. I got a prompt response to my inquiry and had a great conversation with Andrew Long. While the company doesn't do the type of work I'm having problems with (leaking gutters, crumbling brick, rusted garage door), Andrew spoke patiently with me about my water problem for quite a while. He asked a lot of questions and offered insights and options, even though they wouldn't be doing the work. He gave me priority-based advice and contact info for people who might be able to help me. He really went above and beyond even for a non-client!

When we purchased our house, the inspection report identified some structural issues. I called Load Bearing Wall Company and set up a phone conversation with Andrew to discuss the issues. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to understand which of the issues were concerning and why. He also communicated clearly what the next steps would be should we decide to remediate the issues. We will monitor the columns, beams, and joists for any changes over time and will feel very comfortable using Load Bearing Wall Company if anything worsens.

We pulled in Andrew and team to resolve a family room plan that just never worked in our house. The estimating process was quick, simple, clear communication on the plan and options, and I thought very reasonable for the work being performed. Removing a load bearing wall in your home is a little scary looking at times but I felt really comfortable with the knowledge of everyone involved. The crew performing the work was fantastic and friendly. We loved having them in our home for the week of the work. We had a few questions and they took time to explain where needed. All the paperwork and plans submitted to the city was in perfect order and the inspection was signed off in seconds. We’d recommend these guys to anyone. In the end we were able to take our house that we’ve lived in for over 20 years and fix a problem that drove us crazy versus moving.

Our home started as a little 1900s cottage that’s been added onto many times over the years. The result was a maze of small, dark, closed-off rooms and very little flow.
