Remote Structural Design

Fast, Professional Engineering — Without an On-Site Visit

Our Remote Structural Design service allows you to get professional engineering quickly — often without scheduling a site visit.

Below are three important things to know before submitting a project for an engineering estimate.

How Our Remote Structural Design Process Works

24-Hour Engineering Estimates (With Plans & Drafting)

If you have a plan set ready, you can submit it using the link below and receive an engineering estimate within 24 hours.

This option is ideal for:

  • Homeowners planning renovations
  • Contractors needing structural input
  • Designers or architects finalizing plans
  • Permit-ready projects that don’t require in-person diagnostics

Don’t have a plan set yet?

We can help with that too. If needed, we can:

  • Schedule a home scan
  • Create accurate “as-built” drawings
  • Review your goals and discuss proposed changes

From there, we’ll move your project into engineering.

Partial Design vs. Whole Plan Review

Every project is different, and we price accordingly.

  • Partial Design: If you only need one or two structural elements engineered, simply mark those areas on your plans using a red marker and “cloud” the sections that need work
  • Whole Plan Review: If you want the entire plan set reviewed and engineered, just note that in your submission.

This allows us to focus our time — and your budget — exactly where it’s needed.

Simple, Online Payment & Delivery

Once we review your submission, we’ll send you an email and/or text with a payment link.

To move forward:

  • Submit a 25% down payment
  • We’ll begin engineering and drafting
  • You’ll be notified when your design is complete

At that point, you can:

  • Pay the remaining balance
  • Download your stamped designs immediately
  • Access your files even after hours

No delays. No waiting on office schedules.

Who Remote Structural Design Is Best For

  • Homeowners with existing plans
  • Contractors needing fast engineering turnaround
  • Remodels with clearly defined scope
  • Projects outside our immediate service area
  • Clients who want expert engineering without an on-site visit

If your project requires hands-on diagnostics, we’ll tell you upfront and help you schedule the appropriate service.

Why Our Designs Work in the Real World

Because our broader business requires us to be experts in structural diagnostics, design, and physical installation, we understand:

  • What designs install efficiently
  • What meets or exceeds code requirements
  • What avoids costly change orders
  • What aligns with real-world construction practices

This experience directly influences how we design — and why our solutions are trusted by homeowners and contractors alike.

Twin Cities Structural Engineering Experts

We are quite literally the experts in structural home repair and modification in the Twin Cities, and we’d love the opportunity to earn your business — whether in person or remotely.
